Why We Make Mistakes

Mistakes Are Evident Over the past few years Ive had to learn a few lessons from my mistakes

Why we never stop learning, because life throws us so many lessons we learn from our mistakes and grow hopefully.Lessons we learnt from our mistakes

Why our human will might stand in the way. This why I am oten amazed at how slow or how stubborn we are? You’re probably thinking what is she on about now. Thinking some mistakes  we  make  in life we could argue that would have been avoidable  experiences, if and only if  we had  learnt  from someone else’s  experience or ours.

Do you believe that we genuinely don’t want to repeat history but oh ya! As we would say in (Krio) our local dialect in ?? as it were.

I have learnt and applied lessons I learnt from my own mistakes in my previous relationships trust me , the pain I endured and the tears I cried didn’t need anyone telling me to learn from my mistakes. See link for more related post Www.rahiyas.com

Guess What I Did Next
Prayer was absolutely necessary in my case but not only that, I purposely and intentionally wrote the areas of my mistakes and most importantly the lessons I learnt. Glad I promised myself to do good to me and I’ve been on track so far so I pray I continue to apply the lessons I’ve learnt when I need to.

Repeat Offenders Is it Is may seem like some people like to retake life’s lesson and go through the pain by choice. Although it’s primarily because we believe we can handle the situation on our own and think we have everything under  control. So we ignore all the warning signs and just do our own thing.

Which story will you tell There is a bigger story and everyone has a story to tell whether they had to learn the lesson the hard way, whilst the smarter ones escaped because they applied what they had learnt from others mistakes https://pin.it/6sSFExW

How about being real? Like I’m saying   it straight up I have been  guilty  of both, but I’m more inclined to be one of those who don’t want to be scarred if  possible, and  therefore  will  probably  try  to avoid making a mistake.

Life Application. My mum told me a story about a young toddler and her mother, whenever her mother was ironing the young toddler will come up close and try to touch the iron but on several occasion her mum told her not to. We know how children can be quite inquisitive, which is part of their nature.

A Teachable Moment& Lesson Learnt. One day as her mum was ironing she came up close as usual and this time round she dared herself and actually touched the iron and burnt her tiny little finger, she cried so much, she cried herself to sleep. So you see in ignoring her mum’s warning she learnt the lesson the hard way. She was up and about and back to her usual self.

Lesson Learnt & Applied So the next  time  her mother was ironing  she went  up close to the iron , but instead of touching  the iron she tapped her mother and said “mama hot hot” and her mum replied yes “hot hot” guess what she  never  did it again, and that  little toddler was  apparently me. So I guess that taught me something.

What’s New ? It’s  no  new idea, no new theory, but don’t you, wander at times  why we keep making the same mistakes  even though we may  have  evidence that pointing to all the reasons why we shouldn’t  do………….(you fill in the blanks )

Why jump in the fire, you already know it’s hot.
Sometimes Life Lesson’s Pain… There Are Lots of Lessons from Last Year  Alone, (2020) So What Are You Going To Do Differently This 2021?

5 Truths about Mistakes
