Loving Others

With all the buzz and  the Love hearts floating in this “temporary love skies”, It is good to stop and think of those who may be finding it difficult to celebrate this period for a variety of reasons, and where possible to extend love to them as well.

I reflect and look back in my season of waiting where I had a few dry years, it felt  more like “valentine’s drought” to me, and I am not going to lie to you, it was not easy for me, my emotions were very real. I wanted to be the one receiving the flowers, the gifts and going on Romantic Dinners, I wanted to be in Love again.

I know Valentine’s Day is predominately focuses on “couples” “Husband and “Wife”,” Boyfriend” and “Girlfriend” but I believe you can still extend this to your loved ones and family. Over the recent years I have given  gifts and cards to some of my family members.

During this  “Valentines Frenzy” period, if  we do not have our emotions in check, it can quite be overwhelming especially if you are “Single” not dating, or simply not in a relationship, and your social, family, and working networks have all being hijacked by the LOVE Bug so you find that you cannot escape even within your own local networks.
